Having been a huge track and field guy while in high school and then coaching while I was in Germany I can't wait to see Usain Bolt get knocked off his pedestal.

I really am not a fan of the Olympics. It's way too corporatized. I mean you have to have cable to get a lot of it, it's crap. Now if they would allow porn into the Olympics I would watch it!

I would buy a ticket for the finals of the deep throat gagging competition-----just saying.

lol, you know I read the other day that Sara Jay (pornstar) and her friend (forget her name actually) made a bet last year that if the Heat won the NBA Champion ship they would give free BJ's to their fans that follow them on Twitter, well we all know that didn't happen last year but this year they did win. So Sara and her friend will be honoring their deal. There is a long list of qualifications for the event but a bunch of followers/fans will get free professional BJ's. Btw it's free to watch.

Wrestling, freestyle because greco is weird, I know it was the original way to wrestle an all but I never fully grasped the the meaning behind the you must throw your opponent to score deal, and I was a wrestler. I like fencing as well because lets face it there are swords, judo, and any event where America kicks A$$!

all of the real Olympic events. I hate the fact basketball, volleyball, trampoline (not a sport), and the rest of those that shouldn't be there are there. My daughter does T&F so that's what I like the best.

I don't know, I was watching women's indoor volleyball yesterday, and it was pretty intense at times. The one I don't get is handball...was watching that and wondering who in the hell thought of such an odd sport.

watching indoor men's now, I really just meant outdoor sand. It's to the point that almost anything is being played. I'm waiting for beer pong in 2016. Handball is a great example.

I watched a little of the women's volleyball as well. I love how they get in a huddle and grab each other's butts after they score.

I gotta say, the swimmers that do something like 7 events are just amazing. I used to run T&F and was in 4 events and I thought I was going to die.

It's like watching the WNBA...very technically sound...but so boring. Also, since "punches landed" is the main scoring point, they actually punch slower to make it more visible.

So I see Phelps is the most decorated Olympian in history. But I wonder who has been awarded the most Golds during their career.

That would also be Michael Phelps with (edit) sixteen. There is a long list of athletes with nine gold metal , including Carl Lewis, and swimmer Mark Spitz.

Skin of their teeth I tell you. There was another one today, I think Russia and Brazil, that had a really exciting finish. Russia landing a three pointer from the corner with a couple seconds left to take a one point lead...and that he made the shot while getting bulled into by another player. It was exciting to watch.

Olympic Lifting for sure! Gives me something to strive for at the gym. Not that I'll even put 500 pounds over my head.
