Quite some time ago I posted my disappointment regarding good ol' Rocky Patel's discontinuing my favorite cigar of all time - the Fire by Indian Tabac. Some time later, one of the great BORKs on this forum sent me his last two.... the last known to exist. I was overcome with gratitude.
Today, I torched one of them after it had lain in my coolidor for about a year. It could be that my tastes have changed or maybe they're one of those that don't get better with age, but now I'm wondering what it was that made me love 'em so much.
Don't get me wrong. It's still an acceptable smoke - just not as nirvana-inducing as I remembered 'em. Go figure, huh?
During the time since I last smoked one I've tried a lot of other brands/blends and found others that I like quite well, so life goes on, I guess, and new tastes come and go. Maybe that's how it's supposed to be. C'est la vie......

Man, ain't that the truth?? The one I just smoked, though, didn't seem to have that blast. It was just sorta non-complex (if that's a proper term).
Yeah, it kinda did....
