Wow!! I can't begin to tell you what a great day today has been. My child bride and I are camped at Seacliff State Beach just south of Santa Cruz, California, with our travel trailer. Luckily, my good friend, Horst (Kingofthecove ) lives nearby and was able to visit our campsite for a Herf this afternoon. What a guy!
Not only was he able to come by for a couple sticks and to sample some very good bourbon with us, but he also remembered it was my child bride's birthday so he brought a lovely bottle of wine for her to celebrate. We burned a couple excellent sticks, courtesy of our BOTL, Mike Tuccelli.
We had some excellent conversation and enjoyed the camaraderie immensely.
Many thanks, Horst, and Mike. You made her day a memorable one and I enjoyed it immeasurably as well.

Marty - your poured me too much Bookers!.......(but I survived!)
Hee hee, he's fussing because I promised him some good sipping bourbon when I came down and I introduced him to Booker's and Vintage Bourbon, which is a 17 year old bourbon. Mucho tasty. 'Course, he's primarily a scotch drinker and I was gratified that he liked both brands. I know absolutely nothing about scotch.
Good to hear from you, Glen. Is all copacetic in your world??
