Odd aroma

I was smoking a La Gloria Cubana Serie N tonight. Been in the humidor a few months. Good smoke. Part way into the smoke I smelled ammonia. It was the smoke from the cigar as it sat in the ashtray. it had a distinct ammonia smell. I couldnt tell where it was coming from but found it was the smoke. The cigar tasted fine, smoked great. When I smelled the lit wrapper I couldnt notice anything. Never had this happen before. Just curious if this has happened to anyone else.

yes it is common,, especially with younger smokes,, if ya have any more let em rest.
