Post hoc fallacy on several counts. I take particular issue with number 7 that severely understates and oversimplfys the issues. In much of this post I see you using the same methods that you take issue with. I do however hold the same views about the unpredictability of the science of climatology and you are correct in pointing out the lack of data in certain areas of the field. I am of the opinion we should hedge our bets. I see a great deal of opportunity for global advanvement with a shift towards " green" tech. Dont make me send another book web. It's written by a journalist ( I hate that) and it pretty much restates every thing that you say is a fallacy or wrong with this topic however it conveys the spirt behind some of these ideas ( amoung other global issues such as population and globalization).
Btw my response is in no way a personal attack on any one or there ideas. I see this as an opportunity to discus alternative view points of various form members. LET The GAMES BEGIN
