I've probably read the same thread. On another forum a guy from TX username txtuff or something like that was wetting and removing and re applying wrappers. It may start a second ferm so just age for a few months, plus they need dried back down to your ambient rh. As far as caps, so remove wraps from 2 cigars, which get destroyed, and you have plenty to wrap a new cigar and cap it. I leave it to the professionals but its an interesting idea. If you look at that other forum, he has great pics of his trials. I believe he was making nub maduros from connies before they were available in Maduro wrapper. Good read though.
This is interesting personally I'm not gonna do it but damn I really wouldn't mind finding out what a sancho panza with a camacho corojo wrapper would taste like!! I think it would be a awesome mix!!
You don't happen to know the link for her reviews on her expierement do you. I'd be interested in hearing it. She picked some good ones to swap around.
