Congrats on the wedding and don't listen to them. If your wife ever tries to boss you around, do as I do and remember 3 words my dad taught me your Italian so it should work. Pick a Window.
Hey Mike, you act as if that is a bad thing... It doesn't have to be. Been married twenty-five years, I'm glad I did it. Congratulations to you.

In all seriousness, my wife is the best thing that ever happened to me, even more than my kids. Sometimes it's fun to joke around about wanting to bang your head against the wall, but the differences between us are what make this partnership such a fun adventure. We're less than 2 weeks away from our 11th, and I wouldn't wish away even the bad stuff that's happened to us in that time.
And kaspera79, congrats on 25 years. I love to hear that; you are an encouragement to all us other married guys out here. May you have many more. And may Mike more than double that with his new wife!
The preacher in me is now stepping out of the pulpit before I completely derail this thread.
Thanks Eric.. Not to say we haven't had a few bumps in the road, but in the long run I would say my wife made me a better person, and my kids make me want to be a better person and an example of what they should expect/accept in men.
You didn't say "happily" single guy! So I assume you were not as happy single as you will hope to be happily betrothed. Enjoy and love your partner every day of your life. Congratulations!
Congratulations. Or condolences.
Which ever the case may be. LOL!
25 years and I'd have never survived it single.
I'd have starved to death.
I found a gal who takes care of me. Cause I ain't capable of taking care of myself.
She keeps me fed, clothed (and decent clothes too and they match!), happy (ok, most the time) and in cigars. All in all, the "I'm sorry, I was wrong" I have to say is worth it.
Oh yeah. Remember, even when you're right, you're wrong. Just apologize and save yourself the grief of battling.

Congrats, enjoy the wedding/reception/party - have fun.
Don't forget about the honeymoon! But maybe that goes without saying.
