Who was looking for empty boxes?

Do you guys remember the thread a few years ago where someone was looking for as many empty boxes as he can find for some sort of project? Did we ever find out WHAT the project was?

As I recall they were being made into clocks.

I was. I am looking for lids specifically. I am lining the entrance to my man cave in cigar boxes.
