I'm a sucker for a good speech. This one is a bit different. It's rather famous, especially after the speaker, David Foster Wallace, ended up committing suicide a couple years after delivering this speech. In case you haven't read it before, here you go.

I had never heard of him before, so thanks! It is a very different speech... the mention of suicide in the speech (considering your clarification) is pretty eerie.
