Just throwing out a line to the BOTL's in the california area...
My cousin is the brewmaster of San Pedro Brewing company and he has won many awards (I believe 18 in the past three years, but don't quote me) and he has done so at the San Diego fair (I guess that is a big deal)
Now he is into making his own Schnapps and he won 2nd place this past year and the judges were astounded that he used real raspberries instead of a syrup!
Anyhoo, does anyone live around or have had a beer from San Pedro brewing??? If not, and you see some, be sure to pick up a 6 pack or visit his brewery and taste award winning beer!
I'm only writing this for he was in town recently for the wedding I was at and he actually had the brewmasters of "Lakefront" and "Sprecher" both wanting to talk to him and that was pretty darn cool!
