this is a great point right here. it is not unheard of to have real bands on counterfeit cigars.
Looks real. Only question is how did it come off so cleanly? Almost every CC band I take off looks like Edward Scissors hands fought with it for a week.
I really can't tell tbh. But I guess if your palate is discerning enough you could figure out of its a Cuban just by the taste. Though I know your buddy smoked it and not you.
