RH in 'merica

Is there anywhere in the country where the RH sits between 60 and 70 percent for any length of time?Woke up today and my RH was at 72. Opened the lid for a few mins and it went down to 66. Opened my humi later in the day and it was back to 72ish. So I left it open for an hour and it was stuck at 66. Might be an equipment error, just kind of at a loss.

I keep cedar around just for this. Keep or grab the cedar divider from a box or two. When this happens, toss it in, and it will soak up the excess. Problems solved. I use a couple, this happened to me recently as well. I'd say once a year this happens, and once a year I see a big dip.
