And no, I am not being snide, I live in Georgia and very few times have I witnessed a Ice Storm and it's aftermath.
Just be thankful you don't have to work in it. When your job is repairing snow plow, sander, deicer trucks and snow removal equipment, it really sucks.
Freezing rain here today. My car was in the garage so it was good.. But, I had to scrape off the cars behind me in order to get my clear car out.. No win there. Fell on my ass, well elbow actually, in the driveway which was a sheet of ice...My wife keeps telling me we should move to Florida. I am starting to give this serious consideration.
