As for the "yet to figure out the need for them", you will once you have one.
Far less burn marks on the desk or counters. LOL!
Ok I get it now, but don't any of y'all use an ash tray? That is where I lay mine down if the need should arise. Is this something you keep in your pocket if you walk away from the ashtray?

Daniel, for give my ignorance, but did you invent the stogie stand? I see the sock porn comments all the time and they always include the stogie stand sitting on top a pair of Chuck Taylor's. (i assume this is you? I can't remember) Again this all has to do with me trying to understand the history of Ccom and how things came to be

Ok sorry to highjack. Get back to bidding on the stand. I think Rain had the highest bid at $25...
Do we use ashtrays? Yes and no.
I wouldn't dare take one of my ashtrays out to the shop. Already lost one to a big block piston that the connecting rod hit the ashtray.
So I end with a choice, lay it down on the greasy work bench, when I am doing something or a clean rag.
Which creates an entirely different problem. LOL!
I have burn marks all over my roll away tool box and work benches.
The stogie stand saves the greasy work bench and keeps it from rolling away.

And while I do have an ashtray on my desk, I would regularly lay it on the edge of the desk.
And there are several burn marks on the edge of the desk from that practice.
Laziness, I suppose. Now my stogie stand is always where it needs to be.

Thanks for the kind words. I don't remember sending you one. Have I?
I know a loaded question when I see one. No, I hadn't even seen one til this thread and had no idea what it was at first. Just knew it looked bad azz. Once someone pointed it out I saw it for what it is.

Yeah, the stand is Daniels creation. I love to take em along if I'm gonna go smoke somewhere that doesn't have an ashtray, usually outside. Throw in your pocket and good to go. I even use em with an ashtray too, lol. They are very functional.

Stogie Stands solve the "no ashtray" problem and the "non-cigar-friendly ashtray" problem and the "ashtray is way over there" problem and "my cigar keeps rolling away" problem. My friend has a so-called ashtray on his patio with no rest for cigars or even cigarettes. Stogie Stand to the rescue. I rest my cigar in my stogie stand until I need to ash it. Then I lean across the table and drop ash into that ridiculous ashtray of his. It's very handy in many situations and it fits in your pocket as easy as your lighter does.

Any plans for a "MOW VIRTUE FTW L.E. Stogie Stand" in the near future?

I would kill to get a stogie stand with the green-and-white "limited edition" Virtue bands.
    Like this:
    image

If not I may have to DIY and try to make my own (if that's cool with you - I don't want to "deface" the lovely stogie stands you sent)
That would be FTW overload. Game Set & Match.

Hmm that is a tough one....

Just don't think of it as an "eagles" cigar .... think of it as a badass green-and-white band virtue (ftw)

You've already sent me 2 stogie stands you crazy SOB!!! I got an OG standard one and LE lancero edition. Thinking I'll try it on the OG one, need to wait for some warmer temps though so I can get out in the garage and spray the adhesive & sealant. Would probably freeze mid-air if I tried it now LOL
