Should have recieved some Gurkha Crest on Wed. I got nothing. Nothing! The sticks I ordered on the DD last weekend where last spotted in a sorting facility in the next county up the coast. Sould be here today and I hope they enjoyed their scenic ride up here, maybe they'll be rested on arrival.

I am going to try an on-line charity auction with some of them. Keep an eye out in the trades section, should start later today and include a backpack, t-shirt, coffee mug, and a collectors tin.

My old man called me from Tampa Sweethearts today (Shop owned by Fuente family members, in Ybor city, at the site of the original Fuente factory...) to tell me he was in Tampa on business, and that they had a couple Opus 22 sets there, and were selling coffins/sticks from the sets individually. I simply said "Don't you dare." We'll see what he comes back to town with.

Sorry, that one went to Bip/Morge. There are two of the Regent ones in the auction though. PM Bip, he might be willing to work something out.

Got my order in from Ccom. Here is a copy of the email I sent Tim:

I really liked the Ave Maria I tried, it was a large-ish torpedo. I really think I'd dig the Knights Templar size though, it is rare to find a cigar in a lonsdale size and I do normally dig that vitola.

Another recent cigar I have tried and was very impressed with was the Particulares. I only got to try the toro out of that 8 cigar sampler I got a while back. I got just a bit of harshness, so I set the others down to rest for a while. I wondered what your thoughts on them were, maybe your favorite size for them and why, how long you think you should rest them before they are optimal, etc.

I also have heard alot of great things about the Illusione Epernay, I wouldn't mind trying a couple of those. Aside from those three, any time there are Oliva Master Blend III's or Tatauje Reserva J21's involved it is a good thing.

So, you have an idea of what I've been looking at, I have between xxxx to xxxx to spend. It would be preferable to stay closer to xxxx, but it can go up to the xxxx if absolutely necessary. Work your magic Tim, what you got for me?

He didn't tell me what he was sending, and I didn't cheat and check the order status on the website. He only said he was aiming to impress me with this one. Well Tim, mission accomplished. This is what I got:

Also, got in my end of a trade from Stephen Hannibal, along with a bomb he decided to throw in the same box. The deal was I sent him 5 Tat P's for a 5 pack of the Origens. All the single sticks were totally uncalled for, thanks Stephen, I owe you now.
