Ganesha is the god of overcoming obstacles and after I was cancer free for a year I decided to get something that reminds me that I can beat anything. I loved the symbolism and the story. I know someone with a back piece of a more traditional design and I thought it was f'ing cool so I said let's do it.
A nice choice of an awesome message about overcoming obstacles. A very nice symbol to remind you of this. Unfortunate though of the challenges you had to overcome in order for you to get it.
