RP's new release is called 1961, has anyone had this yet?? Medium to Full bodied smoke w/ Habano wrapper, Honduran binder and Nicaragua fillers. I think it's from his new factory also.
Buy the Cigar.Com deal today and you'll try it ... Betasynn scoped it out at place "6" in the website... Unfortunately I could not join him for a split...
I've got 2 resting in my humi.....is it ground hogs day again....but I'm waiting to try it when my dad comes home for Christmas. It looks awesome but I will be sure to let you know how it is.
It isn't bad, but the problem is, in my opinion, 2009 is a great year for new cigar releases, and it doesn't really stand up to the competition. It's certainly better then the Autumn, but not as good as the Patel Bros.

I definately agree its not as good as the Patel Bros, IMO that is tied with the Decade for RP's best stick.
This CAO Brazalia I'm smoking right now is a lot better. So is the Alec Bradley Tempus. Maybe I had too high hopes for the 1961, but I was disappointed.
See, it just goes to show everyone has different tastes. I think the CAO Brazilia is the absolute worst cigar CAO offers. But yeah, the Tempus is better.

I too am not a fan of the Brazilia. I do love the "X" line though. They are among my favorites.

Oh yeah, the MX2 and CX2 are both excellent cigars, one of my favorite maduros and my ansolute favorite cammy. And I do see the appeal of the LX2, its just a little too peppery for me.

Friggen LOVED it.
Not yet! So many cigars, so little time.
