Hehe, well, considering it doesn't officially kick in until July 1 but I'm already working on the restructuring and getting grief from my staff, not too bad. My problem employee has already tried to lecture me on things she thinks I do wrong, but I was happy I am a few years older and calmer than I used to be, I simply told her to stop and that we'd talk about this later (subtext was "at your next performance review"). And then I found a semester-length training on professional relationships, behavior and communication at our local community college that I'm going to send her to and require she pass. I'm sitting down with the Chief Operating Officer (my direct boss) and the HR manager to chart out my own professional development needs tomorrow.
