I had been saving these puppies for a special night....so last night I fired up my first one, expecting to be blown away!
I was really underwhelmed. I mean, it was a good cigar, but it wasn't great..it wasn't even significantly better than a normal Opus X....
Just wondering if other people have the same opinion?

They need sleepy time. Let them go nys nys a bit

I'll take the advice, as I'm not exactly excited to smoke the next one....but when you say let them sleep...they are 2004...they've been sleeping for 10 years...lol

Don't know what to tell ya. Maybe you don't like the tweak in the blend for the Forbidden X's? Maybe something happened to it during the past 10 years (improper aging)? Bum stick? Who knows? Maybe smoke another and see if it was a fluke.

Crap if you don't want them I'll take them!!

HAHA, for the record, I'm not saying they were bad...but they just didn't knock my on my ass as one of the best cigars around...which is how they are billed.

Personally my favorite of the whole line is the normal opus in the fuente fuente size...can't beat it IMO

I could have sworn just last week you said your fav size was the #4. So ..... give me all your fuente fuente because you lied
