Looks like nothing more then a sales pitch to sell design software.

Not a sales pitch at all. I am launching a new brand after purchasing a manufacturing facility in Dominican. This is just a cool website that you can run logo competitions.

Says it's a contest but doesn't say what the prize(s) is/are. Also doesn't say whether we BOTLs are eligible to win - only to enter..... Hmmmm. You may be right, JD. (sniff, sniff, do I smell smoke?)

So it's a contest among designers that I ran, these are the finalists and I am looking for ratings on there designs. All that needs to be done is put star ratings for them and it helps me determine what Cigar smokers enjoy most in a logo. I am just looking for your opinions!

I clicked on the five star rating for the one I liked best. (But you ain't gettin' my email.) And you salesmen never seem to understand. This is our clubhouse. You're welcome to join and be a genuine botl and be a part of our group. Then if you happen to mention that you're in the cigar business, well, we'd probably show plenty of interest. But that's not what you're all about. You just dropped by here to use us. You see how that sucks?

The logo and packing will be done by that point however.

Definitely not the case, I want the cigar community to be part of the business. The email is only to tell you which one won, and I don't even get the emails, that's the website. I have recently just joined the forums and all so that in the formulation portion of my business I can have input. I won't be spamming or doing anything like that.

Gotta love the clubhouse atmosphere around here... Good luck on your venture brother. Thanks for stopping in and asking for feedback.

First input: Don't walk into a community and start asking for things. If you get involved in these cigar communities, they will give you honest advice and opinions. Make friends. Tell us about your business and cigar blends. Not just here but in general. Put some effort into it and you will be rewarded.

OK, I bit and submitted a vote. We are lucky I guess that you picked us over all the other cigar forums for such a prestigious event. I guess we can expect a generous (via escrow) discount on your initial products.

Oh snap...We might be heading towards our quarterly "Vet vs Noob" and "This place sucks VS This place rocks" feud.Hide your wife, hide your kids.

Well I'm just that way. I don't hand out my email to just everybody. I get too much email as it is. But I wish you'd stop trying to justify your marketing on us as some kind of inclusion we should welcome. Next you can settle down and stop talking about your cigars and tell us a little about yourself. Become a good member here and then later we can learn more about those cigars but like I said. This is our clubhouse. And you come in here and expect a bunch of us to get excited over your cigars packaging? I think I understand what you're trying to do and I don't blame you for trying to get opinions but this place is a pretty tight group. And believe it or not we are very welcoming to new members, But You gotta pay your dues by being a part of us before you should expect any type of excitement and goodwill for your potential product. I'm wondering if you have time for us. I'm guessing you don't. I hope I'm wrong. You might be a great guy. Stick around. Or don't.
