Just smuggle them in with the other illegal stuff. Does that mean if it is passed and I am driving through I could get arrested?

Asked the same sort of question of the state police because I owned, carried and transported firearms, and I lived 50 feet from a school.

It's starting here too, small town politics. Bet they can fire up a joint though, crazy.
Read an article a while back from a newspaper reporter at the NY Post that went to Cali for a story. Was having lunch in a little place and noticed an ashtray and matches on the table so he lit up a cigarette. He was informed that smoking cigarettes was illegal and if he didn't put it out he would be charged. I want to say the police did show up but I could be mistaken, memory loss lol. The ashtray was for those who needed marijuana only. Times they are a changing my friends, relish your freedoms.

    Update on this story.

The town of Westminster had its public meeting to discuss the proposed ban (which was nothing more than a proposal made by its idiot head of public health).

They had to stop the public speakers after 10 minutes because of their level of hostility and the growing ugliness of the crowd, just about all of whom were opposed to the ban.

The town is still accepting public comments in written form.

I would imagine the public health official is wishing she never threw this out even as a trial balloon. Stupid idea. Even the virulent anti-smoking citizens in the town are against the ban, since its only effect will drive tobacco-generated revenue to other towns.

Seems like hundreds of people showed up to the town meeting where they were discussing this proposal to speak out against it. The members of the board got the message. They were so scared that they cut the meeting short and got secure escorts to their cars.
