My Herf-A-Dor smells...

LMAO I know I know... TMI.... but it smells really plasticy and kinda chemically... Should I just open it up and air it out? anyone else have this issue?

It will eventually fade. Mine smelled like that when I first bought it.

I've heard people say that if you crumple up some newspapers and put them in it. The newspaper will absorb the stink.

Works well for a Herf-A-Dor, yes........in a bathroom, not so much.......

How long should I leave the newspaper in there? I still have a few sticks in quarantine in there so it may be a bit before I can get it de-stinked lol

leave newspaper in until the smell is gone.

lol .... umm idk maybe a day, maybe a week .... really just depends on how "smelly" it is & how much off-gassing it's doing.
wouldn't think too long since it's a small container (compared to something like a cooler)

Yeah Mr. jgibv... I would do it myself but I just dropped a bunch of money on my daughters birthday for march and my 10th wedding anniversary in april. lol needless to say if someone provides me his addy ill put him on my to bomb list. lol
