Im trying to convince my wife to get a bird feeder. I love birds and we never really see too many... I want to attract them to our livingroom window.

First Warrior

We have five feeders. Two sunflower feeders hanging on posts with squirrel baffles. One hanging from a branch that i load with scratch feed (cracked corn) for the tree rats, another hanger with whole corn and a suet feeder for our wood peckers. Today I was walking out to the mail box at dusk and I saw a small flock of turkeys going after the corn that the squirrels dunped on the ground. We will put out hummingbird feeders when they show up. I think I have about eight birdhouses to open, clean and remount. Two houses are cigar box birdhouses.

Dark Roast

The starlings and a small woodpecker hit the feeder hard at 25 degrees. Next day it was 5 degrees. Birds know what's on the horizon.

First Warrior

Had a Coopers Hawk take a dive at a Mourning Dove at our feeders. The hawk missed but they got to eat too.
