Humidor question

When You get your cigars do you take them out of the plastic when you put them in your humidor or leave them in. Whats the best way to keep them fresh. Thanks

    there is no plastic on cigars. only cellophane.

    it doenst really matter.


    what ever you feel.
    cellophane breathes. cigars will keep with it on or off.

    I asked the owner of my local shop that question not that long ago and he told me that the cellophane that the cigars come in is breathable so it doesnt hurt them to keep them in. The main reason for keeping them in the cellophane is to keep the oils from the wrappers from mixing with other cigars. Unless you have deviders in your humidor if you dont want to get some of the flavor from say a maduro to get into a connecticut keep the cellophane on.
