We agree in many areas, and disagree some Krieg. I dont agree with the same line of thought you have about security and our current administration...but of course security is concern #1 of mine as well....just the means to get there may be different.

I understand your frustration Mill and used to feel the same way----still do actually for the most part. But as I have gotten older and tried to be more open minded I do see the side of respect in the world community and that standing which separates "us from them". No easy answer or way to do things, but extremism in either direction is not the way.

I'm with you 110% G-Man! On a lighter note however, can you imagine sitting on a plane and looking at the guy next to and notice he is trying to lights is crotch on fire? The first thing that would pop into my head would be "HEY! There are better ways to get rid of crabs man! Trust me, I've been to Tijuana!"

I did a little profiling myself...I had to be in the first flight out of Pittsburgh after 9-11 so needless to say tensions were high. There were only about 10 people on the flight and one of the them was Middle Eastern. Obviously, nothing happened, but I had my eye on that dude the whole time and an uncapped pen in my right hand, ready to stab him in the eye.

Just out of curiosity...are you all for profiling blacks for drug and violent crimes as well, since they do have a higher % of committing them? How about Jews for white collar economic crimes? I am not trying to argue here, and I have stated here before that people hate profiling and sterotypes because they often tend to be true, but I am ust curious, as even though I may feel this way I am willing to concede my opinion may not be correct or valid.
