Introduction

Well, I figured it's time to introduce myself seeing as i have been lurking for quite a while. I am in the Army, have been for almost 14 years. I am an Infantryman currently assigned to 3rd ID at Ft. Stewart. I have 3 deployments to Iraq and I am currently on assignment for recruiting duty. No, I did not volunteer for recruiting. I just graduated from recruiting school on Friday and will be assigned to the Atlanta battalion.
I have learned a lot from everyone here and just want to say thanks to those of you who have shared your knowledge.

Welcome John! I spent a year sorta-kinda under 3rd ID, 3rd Brigade's command in 2005 in Baghdad. Fun times.

I'm out now and miss it quite a bit. Thank you for your service to our country.

My question is if you are that close to Atlanta do you realize how lucky you are and are you a Sevendust fan. Since that is their hometown you lucky bastards get to see them all the time.
