I'll make it my official guess...?

Ok, I've got like 3 people close, and no one's said it right out what it is except for one person in a pm. The rules state the first person to type out the correct answer in a post wins it, so the first person to do that will win.

Yep, you got it. Technically the last word is sh!t, but I'll accept crap because of the nanny filter on here. That and it means the same thing. Please pm me your info, and I will get your winnings out to asap.

Ok, I think I made this a little harder than my last one. I will let this go a day and provide hints if needed. This could go fast if you get one or two words and know the quote.

    2. esse, 2 letters
    3. are, 5 letters
    4. fearless, (ant.) , 6 letters

    8. impose an obligation? (verb), 8 letters
    9. alta, 2 letters
    10. "whatever!", 6 letters

**Made changes to clues 5 and 10.
**Made changes to 1 and 4.

Its number 5 that's got me. It can be two things in the sentence, "of" or "to" and I can't make heads or tails of the clue.
  • Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 3,450
Well, it's not a decimal numbering system but another numbering system (the 10). That is your "second" clue...

The rules state you can have two guesses.....go with your gut instinct my friend and/or post both in one. I wanted to send you some 5V Gold Maddies anyway since those are on your top 3.

I was giving someone else a chance, but to heck with it, here goes: Courage is being afraid of death but saddling up anyway. OR Courage is being afraid to death but saddling up anyway.

Oh man, does that count as yesterday? I just realized I got 4 wrong. Well, either I win or someone else can steal it. Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway.

That is a great quote. Nicely done. I still need to get your package out James. Sorry for the delay, but I'm swamped this week. It will be worth it though. ;)
  • Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 3,524
I'll have to dive into the think tank and get a puzzle ready. I'd say its going to be a long swim, maybe a day or two.

Oh, I see what I did there. I forgot to say (possessive) after the clue for number 2. I think that screwed you up on number 3. So I edited, by all means try again. I think you'll get it.
