    Had a Rocky Patel 15th paired with Johnny Walker Black Label. Tasted great, but the burn was horrible.

    Just fired up an EPC LE 2011 Dark Rituals along with some Rogue Shakespeare Oatmeal Stout.
    let us know????
    For some reason the 1st third was kind of meh, vey little smoke output. Glad I stuck with it though, really picked up when it hit the 2nd. The oatmeal stout was awesome.

    My palate would get burned out after that much. I smoked a PDR Oscuro while sitting by my bon fire and drinking an Ommegang Abbey Ale.

    ???

    I read some other reviews on the Dark Ritual, no one else seemed to have that problem in the 1st third, could've been that stick. Some of the reviewers stated due to the complexity of this smoke it's not for the novice smoker. I still consider myself to be "novice" . I thought it was a good smoke once the 2nd third started but didn't wow my novice palate especially for the price. I enjoyed the Elencos more for what it's worth.

    Mild/medium, not a lot of spice, a bit of leather and oak. Maybe a hint of earth and burnt caramel in the background. Light yours up, you'll dig it!

    Avo heritage. Never had an Avo (or davidoff for that matter) before, and so far the flavor is fantastic! exactly what I like in a cigar. However, there was some tunneling at the beginning and I lost about a half an inch on a 5 inch cigar... upset me, but its still going great right now.
