Smoke my first cigar in nearly a month last night around the fire out with Pops, had a La Deuña Petite Belicisos that roman sent me early this year and has around 10 months on it I believe. Fantastic stick and my first experience with this blend, I can tell you that it won't be my last by far. Janny did an excellent job with this blend and you can definitely still see the influence from Pete and Don Pepin in her blend. Pulled up a fantastic molasses and cocoa powder sweetness at the front end and a oily leather and aromatic cedar tones with a hickory bite to finish. The pepper died down within the first inch and left a very solid balance, overall am so glad that I grabbed this one last night, thanks for an outstanding introduction Roman!

    Shizz

I got home, done for the day...start vacation tomorrow...figured I'd sit on the porch, have a cigar and read a bit.
    Had a Tat Cabaguian

Good light, pretty good burn, draw was low to start, but got better.

Started off real peppery, but smoothed out and got a hint of spiciness to it. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I think I also really enjoyed just sitting on the porch with a good book.

    Thanks Shizz!

Smoked a Diesel Shorty last night from Lee's "average joe" pass back in the summer....
First time with the Shorty and it was good, quality smoke - exactly what I expect from AJ. Will be getting more of these, the larger RG is very forgiving and perfect for puttering around the garage.

Had a Padilla Cazador from Shizz.....

Flavor was great, but it was plugged something fierce. Only time I could get a solid draw off of it was to do so much puffing, I was afraid I was going to get it to hot and ruin the flavor. I shall find another, I'm pretty sure I'd really enjoy it.
