7. Do not leave cigars out of the humidor unless they are in a special travel case. They will dry out pretty quickly and smoke like dried leaves…
how long would you say before a stick dries out? 30 min? not considering it baking in direct sunlight
thanks for this guys.....very new to the hobby.
Wife got me a the cigars.com intro deal with the inexpensive basic starter humidor, with a few cigars and a lighter. Can't wait to learn more about everything.
This answered a few questions that i had and steered me in the right direction.
thanks for putting this together.
This one is my downfall:
96. Do NOT inhale cigars – they are not like cigarettes. This should have been one of the first things I mentioned LOL.
I have been inhaling cigar smoke since I was a kid, I tend to smoke a cigar by mainly not inhaling but at various points during the length of the stogie I can't help myself. I have to inhale. I am in the process of quitting cigarettes all together and only smoke cigars and I an going to try and limit that to 3 a day if I can.
At what point is one considered a 'Heavy' cigar smoker? And are you implying that if I were smoking with other cigar aficionados that to inhale reflects badly upon you or are you just looking out for everyone's health?
And what is with this forum software that doesn't seem to format anything I create. No WYSIWYG here it would seem. Am I doing something wrong here?
Man I'm new to this hobby, this forum is great. I learned quite a bit from this thread. This place isn't much different from Grasscity, just a different plant
