Excellent choice! I read the series a few years back, Book 2, Le Stat has got to be my favorite, and a gem of Rice's literary collection. Also Queen of the damned is very good, much much better than the movie in my opinion.

If any are history buffs, a good set is "The History of the English Speaking Peoples" by none other than our very own Winston Churchill. I like his style, both in writing and cigars ;) Four volumes, but a good read

Sounds like that would be a great choice to sit out back and read with a smoke.

I've always thought about adding this to the library.
