College Bowl Game Contest - 2012-2013 - Game Time!

There is still plenty of time to get in on this. Te contest will close on December 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. EST.

Well, it is that time of year again. The past couple of years we have done a college bowl game contest on here and I was looking to see if anyone would be interested in doing one again this year. If enough people are interested I can always start one. The rules would be simple: (I am stealing Vulchor's rules from 2010) I will post all games everyone picks the winners of every game. Also, as a tie breaker, have to give the total points scored of the National Championship game and the Rose Bowl Game (separately of course). Top 2 participants in the game decided by wins and tie-breaker if needed... win.

The winner gets a little pack of 3 cigars (although Im hoping people send more like 5-7) from 60% (the first 60% of people who sign up) of the people who lost. The 2nd place person gets a package from 40%. A winner could get a few dozen depending on how many participate and the MOST you could lose is 3 sticks or so (again, we're all generous, 5-7). I will give names of who sends to who after season is over. Its a nice long game with a good reward possibility and lots of chances to win.

Also, I would say that anyone who plays should be on the good traders list.

Please have all game picks listed in this thread no later than 12:00 p.m. EST on December 15. The first bowl game starts at 1:00 p.m. EST.

Once your picks are made they cannot be changed. If you do want to make changes to any of your picks I guess you could up until 1:00 p.m. EST today. That is when the first bowl game is starts, but, once that time passes that is it. You have to ride your picks to a victory or defeat.

I can sure do that. I was going to get around to it tomorrow but why not now. So here goes....

First Place: Tie with 6 wins: Vulchor & zeebra
Second Place: Tie with 5 wins: The rest of us.

So far a really close race. That will change with the next few games though.

Same here! I had $$$ on SMU +13 as I had them losing by only 6 points, but them winning straight up was great! First dog of the bowl season and it was a big one! I'm in the same boat as you on the confidence pool, had them on 17 points!!!

man I loved that Baylor game!! My biggest bet of the bowl season!! I had them rated at -7 for the game and when I was able to get +3.5 on them, I went 4 digits worth on them!!! GOO BEARSSSS!!!!!
