I've got beads up there. (You can see them in one of the pics I posted.) They probably need a re-charge, though. I'll do that when I get some distilled water. I've got the Oasis up there right now, too. Top hygro now reading 64%, and bottom 65%. That's much closer than they were an hour ago, but it may just be a temporary convergence as the top one continues rising and the bottom one continues falling. We'll see. If I have to, I'll go ahead and use that Oasis II on the bottom shelf.
I couldn't take my eyes off the cigars ! Only kidding, I didn't realize that those object were actually beads up there. Sounds like things are getting better .
Yea I would have thought so to. Speaking of distilled water , how long do you guys hang on to/or use from a jug of distilled water before tossing and getting new jug. I have had some for about 90 days now and wonder if its still ok to use.
I've still got the first jug I bought about 9 months ago. I figure I'll replace it every year on the year. Most have an expiration date printed on them. I'll rotate it like I rotate the rest of our bottled water stock.
Urbi I've got the PERFECT solution to fix your beautiful new humi! Just bring it to my house, drop it off with me, then come pick it up in a year and I'll have it ALLLL lined out for ya! hehe
Thats one thing I don't have to worry about. The distilled water never goes bad around our house because thats what we mix my son's formula with! Always got plenty on hand to keep the humi charged up!
Sounds like ya got it purrin' there 'Bino .....still mule-lipped over my trip to see tha Ghurka chest saturday ..... a cabinet is definitly in my not too distant future though .... just don't see any sense in buying the smallers and continusly shuffling...much more cost efficient in the long run with a cabinet of some type....sounds like you are really pleased, thats good....
I got one for my 400 count humidor and I love it, to dang easy to operate and take care of, and quiet as all get out. Definately a product I would recommend to any one.
The number of cigars on each level, or heat rises and higher humidity possible at higher temperature. Is the temperature the same throughout the entire cabinet ?
