Has he (Coach JMartinez) actually asked for a newbie trading sponsor yet? I didn't read where he actually asked for or claimed a sponsor. All I read was a question asking how it works.
Coach, Here's how it works. (Welcome to the forum.) You send/trade 5 cigars with a member and he in return will send you 5 cigars. That establishes you as a "good trader" and serves as an initiation to the forum.
You either ask for a sponsor or pick a sponsor from the hadfull of guys here who are already excitedly peeing themselves over the prospect of facilitating your first trade.
So Coach, I'll be available as a sponsor too. All you gotta do now is confirm somebody as your choice of sponsor. But if you've already sent your address to any of these other guys,..............well, it's already on. LOL

To expand on this a little more, you don't have to do a 5 for 5 trade. You can determine the parameters with the person you are trading with. You can also do a blind trade (neither of you know what the other is sending) or you can stipulate what you want to trade or receive.
Generally you need an OG to sponsor you. You send them smokes first and they respond once received. If you read the first post in this thread it should explain it in detail. I haven't got my stripes yet, but I'm sure there is folks out there willing to do it. If you go over to the welcome newbs thread you should introduce yourself as well.
Also Steve (honorknight7) Welcome to the forum. If you're ready to start trading, I'll sponsor your first trade if you haven't got a sponsor yet.

I'm only starting with 3 each as I am just getting into "inventorying" sticks and 70% of the just under 80 count I have on hand are flavored ones I ordered for my wife

And you really need to introduce yourself to the gang over on the Newbie Welcoming Thread. I'll be glad to sponsor you. Basically you send me a few cigars first and then I send you a few and this serves as an initiation and gets you established.
